breakup poem by a pessimist, heartbreak poem

Creating a new relationship, especially a romantic relationship, is creating a chance to hurt yourself in the future. Love and breakup are connected like life and death. This is a short poem about a pessimist guy who sincerely loved his sweetheart very much. Unfortunately, his sweetheart left him for another rich macho man. This is a breakup poem for all broken hearts out there.

Restart – A short breakup poem

All my happiness is torn apart,
I miss you, my sweetheart.
Countless memories you impart,
This is my life’s hardest part.

My life is an empty cart,
Worthless without a counterpart.
I can’t believe you left me and outsmart,
Now I want my life to restart.

  1. An absolutely amazing poem…poems written about love & breakup always come off the most strongly to me…there’s so much emotion in this. I love it. I know exactly how you feel.

it’s hard to pick out one stanza from this poem to congratulate you on…mainly because the entire thing was filled with only great sections. this was an ‘all killer, no filler’ type of work :). very nice. great job
Keep sharing & all the very best for that RESTART

    1. So true
And people call me instant poet
      U know why?
Bcoz whenever i propose a lady, she instantly says “nooooooo”

  2. So sweet! I’ve experience this lost love once, it’s both a lesson and a curse. A lesson at love because you’ve risked giving your heart to someone that took it for granted, but risk taking is what life is about. A curse because a heartbreak is a pain like none other.

    1. So true 🙂
Even the best delicious food feels tasteless during heartbreak.
It sucks every joy in life. Thanks for your valuable comment 🙂 💙

      1. Yes, so true, all the joys of life seems to have left with them. There was a saying I read somewhere, ‘you will find someone that will help you unpack your baggage.’ I can tell you it’s true. I found my husband of 9 years that till this day, continues to help me with my baggage of that past heartbreak. But if there’s someone willing to do that for you, keep them! They’re worth giving love a second chance! 😊🙏🏽

        1. Unfortunately, i dont have one 🙁
Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience.. 💙 my blog needs such insightful comments

          1. So nice, but we’re here to also support one another! 😊🙏🏽 Try not to feel like you’re alone or that there will never come another – it’s all negative, dark lies. But patience is key. And before you know it! All is well with your heart again.
